Simon Foote Architects were approached by this client to help create their dream home on green belt land, that is attached to their business. Using Paragraph 55 of the NPPF (very tricky if you know it) permission was granted using the ‘key worker’ section of this planning policy.
The design is influenced but the rural setting and agricultural buildings, which are predominately linear in form. Surrounding the site are hills and woodland and Simon Foote Architects has framed these views and placed specific rooms to allow the homeowners to feel visually linked to this beautiful part of Peak District.
