Simon Foote Architects were asked to assess the redevelopment of this rural site, outside Uttoxeter, to build a new home. The site currently has a steel framed agricultural barn which we identified as an opportunity to use the Class Q rules to convert the barn under the buildings permitted development rights (does not require formal planning permission). The proposal looks to create a spacious home with a modern open plan living and social space utilising the full height of the building creates 4 generous double bedrooms all with ensuite facilities and dressing rooms. The design prioritises the surrounding views and embraces the rolling fields, valley, and woodland to create a unique and premium property.
